There was a thread about this on another site a while back where someone suggested Mark Hamill for Starscream and Tone Loc for Jazz. I like those picks. If not Tone Loc, I would go with Lennie James (doing the voice he did in "Lost in Space").

On the imdb transformers:the movie board somone suggested Mark Hamill for Starscream, maybe that's where you saw it?

 

but I agree about the remaining G1 cast for the voices, it's either them or nothing for me.

 

Welker has already said he'd love to do the voice of Megatron again, Corey Burton also stated in an Interview he would reprise his role as Shockwave, Brawn and Sunstreaker if he where asked to, but he jokingly said he thinks he's alittle too old now to voice a 14 year old Spike :thumb

I love the Mark Hamill as Starscream! I love his voice as the Joker one of my all time favorite cartoon characters! I agree about getting original voices back but if they don't we're going have to deal with it. At least get the original Prime and Megatron please! If they are going to change him into something other than a gun they must get the original voice actor!!!!!!!!

I dont think they should use any of that Binaltech or Alternators garbage.

They should just use the G1 versions of the cars,truck,planes,etc.

Garbage?! Alt/BT are the greatest TF's I've ever seen! (difficulty level notwithstanding)

 

And if the movie is set in the 80's, like it's apparently been rumored, they'd almost have to use the original vehicle designs, but I wonder how they're gonna handle Bumblebee?

 

Or is VW's edict only applicable to the "New Beetle"? 'Cause Takara/Hasbro obviously used BB's original alt form with the re-issue keychains, and "World's Smallest"...?

i think the reason that the wsbb is still an old beetle is because vw dont own the rights to the design nemore, i could be wrong but they dont make the car newhere that i know of, not even mexico so that could be the reason. and yes i think the hamil would do a very good starscream, but i cant picture ton loc or chris roc as jazz, nothing against them but the thing i always liked about jazz was the slightly musical quality of his voice, like he was half way singing and ton just has way too deep of a voice, and i dont think that cr hould drop his trademark schtick, but i can picture dave chappelle doing jazz's voice, he has plenty of schticts and is always changing his characters, i think he could do jazz
