Admit you like/own a Gobot!

Cy-Kill was far better constructed than Megatron. Megatron's right arm and torso hinge will break off if looked at funny.

*looks at Megatron funny*

Yep, I just kissed $120 goodbye.

used to have quite a few Rest-Q was always my first-aid when i played. i think they're all gone now. cept theres some black sedan that i still have. was part of the car gestalt i think.

The original Machine Robo series wasn't too bad but the toys were so flimsy. Cy-Kill broke if you looked at him wrong. Just today I found that I still have my "Nugget" toy from the Rocklords series, though. Rocklords... because every kid wants a toy that turns into a rock.

Rocklords were fun to throw at people. They didn't break. I have about four or five of 'em.

I had a few I actually liked (though no clue on the names for the most part). I rather liked both the small and large versions of Leader-1, especially the one in the Blue Angels paint scheme. The large orange truck guy was pretty cool, as was the little dump truck. I was particulary fond of the one that turned into an A6M Zero fighter though :D

Oh, and the car gestault, Puzzler.. absolutely owned. He blew Menasur out of the water.

While I nolonger have any of my old Gobots, my favorite was always Cy-Kill. He was just so cool looking. And MEAN!! He really had the potential, if written correctly, to be a Megatron-level baddie.

I loved his, albeit brief, cameo in the Transformers: Armada comic along with Cop-Tur. I always sort of envisioned the Renegades and Guardians as sort-of offshoots of the Autobots and Decepticons. Cybertron was a big place, after all. And heck, maybe Gobotron was a Cybertronian colony. ;)

I loved Turbo and Spoiler. They were my replacement Sideswipes, after I demolished him with my super coordinated four year-old hands.

never had them, never liked them... had a friend that I played TF with in 4th grade that had some... but they always stayed in the box... we always used the real TFs.

I confess my sins! I still have most of my old Go-Bots. I traded some for TFs though. I even have watched the cartoon recently!

Dude, theres a lot of Gobot lovers out there! And I think youre right about the whole writing thing, a bad show will kill a decent toy line. One problem I always had with these guys was that so many of their heads were just chromed balls with a little flash of color for a visor. What was up with that? Ultimately, I'd love to see Unicron eat that 2nd Death Star-looking incomplete planet of theirs...
