Admit you like/own a Gobot!

I never did like TFs as a kid...always wanted gobots instead.

And they were cheap too, like 2bucks the bigger ones were more but I never had those.

Deluxe Leader-1 was cool, and the regular Cy-Kill, Model-T, Jeeper Creeper, Heatseeker, and Dive-Dive were all pretty good. Turbo was OK, but by no means fantastic... (i just can't believe I remember those names, lol)

Gobots were fairly cool. Of course when I was a kid I didn't care what company made them. They were just vehicles that turned into robots. I still have the red pickup truck and a couple others somewhere ....

 

I think where Gobots really sucked was the cartoon. That was horrid

I own several. They're actually better amde than the mini-TF's are, and with more creative transformation too. They're not better than the big TF's, and big Gobots suck, but the small ones are still cool to get every now and then.

I had this one that turns into a gun. He kind of sucks, but he shoots caps!

Yeah, I had a bunch of them, and I used to like them, until I found my first Transformer, and then it was "Forget this Gobots crap! I'm going TF"

Well, actually, I do own a few of the G2 Gobots, which became the RID Spychangers afterwards, but i don't think they count in this case :tflaugh

I like my black Cy-Kill quite a lot. He's always been pretty tight in terms of the wheels and engine, too. Not like he transformed all that much (pull out arms, fold down legs, take stuff on and off), but it was dinky and neat.

I have a black Crasher, a Vamp, and a Machine Robo Rescue Red Wings set. I really dig Gobots on the whole. I'd love to have Scorp, Pincher, Jeeper Creeper, and Dive Dive, though I'm pretty ambivalent about a lot of the more generic ones... Still. Great toys, in their own right.

The original Machine Robo series wasn't too bad but the toys were so flimsy. Cy-Kill broke if you looked at him wrong. Just today I found that I still have my "Nugget" toy from the Rocklords series, though. Rocklords... because every kid wants a toy that turns into a rock.
