Grimlock (Ravage/Shockwave/etc) wasn't his same altmode before. PLEASE don't let a @#$% minivan be the next one.

 

Somehow I didn't mind the original Ironhide design because he still looked like a tough, boxy van.  These newer models are all soccer-momed out.  I realize this is a collector's line, but I've seen parents considering buying Alts for their kids, and that won't happen with THIS one...

What if it's Ratchet with the Remold as Megatron. I hear they were connect to each other in the comic.

I would so love to see an alt. IronHide and if they have to make a mini-van to do it, thats perfectly fine with me. It would suit him best anyway. :)

I said the alt line wasnt dying down, companies dont often kill a prestige line even if they are running as loss leaders ;)

I wonder if it will be based on Nato's drawing, Which does look like HotRodimus in the face now that I look at it again.

Hopefully we'll see pics by next week if this is real. I remember all those web post that some one saw Tracks with what looks like a cat's head and they came true the next week. Don't hold your breathe but maybe. It may end up as Rodimus Prime with the way the BT story is going. The Autobots face Unicron alone and HotRod gets the Matrix blah, blah...

if they are making rodimus prime i want them to make a proper masterpiece and release it in the uk :grr

 

it has to be ironhide. besides the characters pre-movie will have survived, including optimus, it's a whole different can of beans now that megatron is not around and shockwave is in charge, my guess is that the decepticons ravage made disappear will soon make their appearence again with the passing of unicron

You realize any Alternators storyline is just stuff they're making up off the top of their heads in order to sell more toys, right?

I thought about what my reply would be, but all I can come up with is "meh."

Hopefully, the minivan alt mode turns out to be an error.  A pickup or SUV seems like a better choice from a sales/marketing perspective - no matter how beloved the original character was, a minivan will be such a shelfwarmer that it will make 'Swipe seem like he flew off the shelves.
