OK, I have every alt displayed in bot mode in a glass cabinet and I have one of each alt still in the box being displayed on top of that cabinet (see my sig for the link to my transformers section of my website).

 

Now, my question is, should I just have 1 "complete" set and sell the other set (minus maybe a couple)? Or continue this way... money's not a problem, so "saving money" isn't an issue.

 

I have a bunch of 3rds and 4ths that i plan on kitbashing... but i'm just wondering if it's just silly...

 

any thoughts?

if i had the money i'd buy two of every Alt and one of every BT... if it makes you happy then just do it

I personally am looking for an Alt. Meister.  My town was skipped over in distribution from his release :fire  :fire  :fire  :fire I was not happy.  And when it was obvious, it was too late to purchase him online.  So if you're willing Sureshot, sell one of your Meisters my way, and I'll so purchase him.

If I could I'd have one of each opened and one MISB. Even though I've sold off a lot of my MISB stuff, it was mostly doubles of stuff I have opened so it didn't really bug me much to get rid of it especially considering I didn't have nearly enough to have a complete line in sealed boxes/packages. But with Alts, I would never sell off the MISB's, that's a line worth having a complete sealed set of.

 

If you're not hurting then definitely keep them!  :thumb

What about One in bot mode, one in Car mode and one in the box? Damn I wish I had your expendable cash. Do you collect other figures outside of Alts?

Just TFs... but i'm mostly into the reissues and alts... an armada/energon here and there...

 

I think I have about 47+ alts now up to wheeljack... man, i need to get to kitbashing...

Here's my suggestion.  Keep the MISBs tucked away.  Display the opened on a really nice display case (or shelf). IMO they are the best looking TFs out there, in either mode.
