I just picked up Skyblast and I couldn't help but notice when you flip his wings forward in jet mode he looks a lot like Cyclonus. In the rights colors, it would almost be perfect. I know its to early for repaints, but I would love to see this done. (maybe someone would do a kitbash?)

 

Anyone else see any that just scream repaint?

Actually a hot shot repaint would be cool. Make him into Wheeljack (I think he survived Armada, I missed the last 2 eps). Would look nice powerlinked as well.

I saw a custom hotshot done in G1 hotrod colors on remy's site. It was really sweet and I would dig one of those.

 

The one I would really like to see a repaint of before I break down and buy the original is Optimus. I think they could do the limbs with hands in red while doing the hands blue and the othe two limbs blue with white detailing. The cab could be done a lot closer to G1 prime. That would do it for me. I like the figure, but the current paint apps drive me nuts.

I'd like to see Energon Op repainted in light blue an black, like G1 Hot Spot, then make all the limb drones white, with black and red detailing, so he'd look like Defensor when combined. Actually, Hasbro had re-trademarked Protectobots, it wouldn't surprise me if they're planning to make new Energon versions of them to link to Op as limbs. Optimus could also be done to look like Menasor, but that would require resculpting to get rid of the autobot symbol.
