None other than über scammer jenny/menasor/claudia, a user suspended multiple times on Ebay for never shipping the goods and shill bidding. got my box from hasbro toy shop this week. this brings me up to 5 movieverse primes now: '07 leader, ROTF gravity bots, legends, leader and now the voyager as well.

 

universe smokescreen was also in there, and boy do I like that mold and deco. so glad i got it, especially since it was on sale

That statement really doesn't stand, AP. Super Sentai(what became Power Rangers in the states)and Go-Lion(what became Voltron) were both produced by Toei. Not only that, Super Sentai was first with the combining robot that pre-dated Go-Lion by months.

Even if the "pre-date" is by gosh, only months ??? the concept is the same and I dont remember any super sentai on t.v. when I was a kid, so as far as the American MMPR I remember that toy line with the Saturday cartoon not coming out until the early 90's, and half of the show was the prop masters actually using the same robots that where sold to the public to do the action sequences, kinda like the old TF commercials with the creepy green eyed kid, so Tarron I do know what I am talking about- and if they did have a MMPR cartoon or live action t.v. series in the early to mid 80's then it must have been on cable or exclusively aired in Asia.

Not only that but if the birth of both toy lines are only months apart then there could have been design swapping going around the office and so on...

So if they are made by the same company and only months apart it is pretty hard to tell what or who came first, its just my opinion anyway right?????

Chill AP. What Taaron is saying is that in Japan, both shows were aired in the 80´s and that one was out a few months before the other. Power rangers may have been released stateside years after Voltron, but that doesn´t mean it´s not been around for less time

 

To be honest, they´re both not very good shows anyways. I prefer Tf´s over both of them anyday, toy or show-wise :P
