i think Spike cursing was pivitol for the movie-

that was the the early warning light that things were about to get ugly real quick

 

I remember being 7 and thinking OMG- this is for real!!  And then 10minutes later ALL the autobots die.

 

I think that may have been what the person was suggesting (?) or maybe he was just a "Powerglidetard"

 

I think if DM is going for a pg-13 rating though, the Spike saying "Blot" , level has already been surpassed

But the moment has nothing to do with what makes Transformers, transformers...and in the film that part comes after all the Bots are dead, anyway...

Oh man, I totally interpreted your comment another way. I thought by "ugly" you meant "lame". :lol :redface

P.S. I would be shocked if ANYTHING post-TF:TM makes it into any of these reels.

If I were doing it, I'd use footage from MTMTE, the film, and the BW episode Agenda.

 

I think the part where BW Megatron entered the Ark and began to walk among legends like Soundwave, Starscream adn Optimus Prime created a true sense of awe, something I feel the new film needs.

Plus the reverence when Blackarachnia described the Ark crash to Silverbolt.

 

And you can't forget the scene where Starscream dumps Megatron into the void, that is the purest example of the G1 character ever in the series. 

 

I would set these bits with some tfing bits from the series and movie (like when Devastator combines at Autobot City) to the Armada game's orchestral track, which was a lot more G1 than Armada, to be quite frank.

 

But more than likely it will be a bunch of action scenes strung together with "The Touch" or Transformers theme.

It was a joke. Duh!

 

As regards concerns that nothing post movie will end up in there, at least 3 of the contributors are intending to include Beast Wars moments as well as comic moments, so it seems from the posts of those people they fully intend to show a more rounded perspective.

 

In addition they're still waiting for people to suggests moments that sum up Transformers 101, so you have your chances to see your suggestions on the reels.

no no no no no  no NO! a movie sampler put together by Trans fans! Blot more then lickly 59 minutes of G1 repeating the same damn characters over and over again.  Blot I liked the Arcee Idea but as far as I've heard everone else is against it, If this movie turns out to be a G1 highlight reel Im gonna end up boycotting this film, much to my dismay
