I'm telling you, that instrumental porn rock music HAS TO BE IN THE MOVIE!!!!!! :clap :lol :bounce :usa

"There's a fine line between being a hero, and being a Legend"  Good stuff lol

Actually, that's Optimus talking to Ironhide after he went after the Decepticons by himself(well Bluestreak followed him.) and got blasted out of the sky and he says, "Just remember, there's a fine line between being a hero, and being a memory."

I'm not trying to be a correcting smartass.(Although I'm sure that's what it sounds like)  I've just watched these things a dozen or so times in the past few months and I have a lot of exact quotes(for the most part) embedded in my head.

Don't forget about Optimus at the end of MTMTE. He does exactly the same thing Ironhide did - he totally loses it and flies off by himself to try and stop Megatron. It's an interesting juxtaposition, and I think it shows a lot about Optimus' character.

also some teletran-1 moments need to be included e.g. hey optimus teletran computes the word electrum" lol

seriously though if the cheesy porn music is to be used it should be the worse version of making tracks

Id like to see some of the real dynamic stuff where the characters are using their Transformations in battle: ie

seeker (skywarp?) tosses Jazz - who TFs into a car, skids back a moment before accelerating, tfing and leaping forward.

a Lot of the transformation bits used in the end credits are iconic.  also the commerical breaks - had a lot of character.

Some Kup and HotRod and Prime stuff from early TF:TM is nice too. I am not saying those characters, but the way the Transformations are used as part of the battle.

EDIT: I keep thinking a Matix2 styled Freeway scene but with Bots instead of agents would totally rock! also using aspects of Spidy/Ok battles where in the bots/spidy are constantly jumping back to save random victims while also continuing their fight with the villians (i am thinking spidy's train sequence)

Ok, but now a question or two for you guys.  What, in this movie can't you live without?  I mean if it wasn't in the movie you would probably still watch it, but feel something was missing.  For me, as an example, and this is not as important to everyone, is heads.  Transformers, more than Gundam, more than Robotech, or any other Robot show, have the most unique looking heads...Almost humanlike, but with horns and vents and what not.  If Jazz is going to come out in the movie, I want at least his head to represent him.  He doesnt have to be a porshe, because I know legalities might prevent that, but let him resemble Jazz....This is visual.  I also want these characters to be recognizeable, so that someone who hasn't been a fan since he/she was younger might still recognize them based on how they speak and act.  This movie can't introduce Jazz as a Mini-Van with a British Accent for example.  This is Personality.

Untile I see concept art, there is nothing to get excited about.

I agree. Heck, that's how the Alternators line manages to pull off the G1 homage... sometimes the head sculpt is all you get.

I don't know if I feel *that* strongly about the movie... I'd just like to see what they come up with. But in general, I think a sense that the Decepticons truly are malevolent and that the Autobots are the only ones who can stop them, *and* that Optimus Prime knows that it's up to them... and ultimately him if it comes to it... that's what it's all about IMO. I guess there just needs to be something at stake. A big zowie-pow robot battle would look cool but you wouldn't care about who wins. Know what I mean?
