the archetype portrayed by Han Solo is that of the rogue who go goes through a repemptive process. I know of no TF's who fit into that role.

I always liked Springer. He called Hot Rod "dumb" and that helped me feel a bit better.

 

Plus he got the girl AND had a sweet triple transformation.

well, to begin with, The Movie isn't part of Japanese G1 continuity.

 

Headmasters and all those Japanese G1 shows aren't part of our continuity at all.

 

Japanese Beast Wars' story and a couple characters were changed (most notably, they didn't know that (I think it was) Tigatron and Airrazor were gonna be in love, so both were male (and, apparently, "gay").

 

Beast Wars II and Neo branch off of the Japanese version of Beast Wars, so they're not connected to our version, except maybe by association.

 

 

My point with that reply to XB was that, according to him and Bodycount, Superlink is "the real story," and Energon was just a crappy rewrite.

 

By the same token, our G1 was the "real story", while the Japanese dub was just a re-do. :)

 

As for the "not admissable"..  well, XB has this insane notion that ALL TF continuities somehow blend seamlessly together, and, therefore, can be spoken of interchangably.  :P
