He was an Hon Solo rip off

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Hardly.  The central characteristic of Solo was that he was a Rogue.

Springer was not that.

Bzzzz.  Try again

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

So, wouldn't that make Hot Rod/Rodimus the Hans Solo rip off, per my intrupetation.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I think what Xbob meant is that Springer was the same type of smart-alecky "cool guy" as Han Solo.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Yeah, but Han had more "Bastard ya gotta love" joojoo than Springer.  Still not feelin the comparison.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Well I'm not gonna argue Xbob's point for him. I just thought Springer was bland bland bland typical tough guy bla bla whatever.

Added sales for Hasbro.  UltraMagnus = First truly intention repaint to milk the unsuspecting youth of all their Lemonade stand money.

'Cept after about a month his swordy needed Viagra - that sucked

PS- Magnus only went down in one shot for the same reason others in the movine did. Plot conveneince/bad writing. Brawn (who pwns all) took direct hits from Megatron plenty of imes before. But in order to eliminate some older characters and see new ones, they made it easy.
