Lighting Beast Machines Darkest Hour

Anyway, spark-less TFs AND purely techno TFs are one and the same as far as Megatron is concerned. The problem according to him is nature, which doesn't just mean organic goo but stuff like free will as well.

so, instead of restoring the tf's technological purity, he wiped them out and repopulated cybertron with several mindless drone armies?

and like i said, free will wouldn't have been a problem if megatron reporgramed the vehicons to remain loyal to him even after he infused them with a psark, like he did with the BW sparks.

yeah we see how well that turned out *cough*jetstorm*cough*

Did you even watch the show? According to Megatron, Cybertron is a haven for machines, and machines function best when guided by a single consciousness. Hence the Vehicons. He only created the generals out of necessity, and even that was meant to be a temporary solution. Megatron learned from the beast wars that relying on other people is a recipe for failure (i.e. Dinobot).

WATCH THE REST OF BM BEFORE COMMENTING n00B!!!!1 :P

It is a good possibility that the Matrix was not on Cybertron at the time. And since Megatron didn't actually kill anyone, instead he trapped them in a big jar with holes poked in the top, it wouldn't have been a life and death situation.

The matrix wasnt opened because the whole beast series blew and the writers didnt have enough brains to put anything good in it.  The fact that tha autobots had gone to *organic forms* was bad enough.  We were lucky to get the ark and visions of actual good autobots in the series.  As for the lack of the matrix, i can only hope that somewhere a real PRIME or perhaps Star Saber has the matrix safely tucked away from the grime that is beast wars.  And yes.... i was rooting for megatron the whole series... especially in Beast Machines!!!!!

now... get this organic filth outta here!  :thumb

The Maximal upgrade wasn't an upgrade to 'organic forms', it was an upgrade to downsize and conserve energy.  Only in BW we got about 10 TF's that went organic cuz they were on prehistoric Earth.  The techno-organic part of BM was only temporary, as Transtech was to return to the technological area again.

I wonder how long it would have taken megs to infect a planet, steal all the sparks and store them with no assistance, but drones.  I always assumed that decades upon decades passed between the end of BW and BM
