*by the way... anyone looking to complete the RM seeker trio - Joel @ BBTS has one more RM Starscream up for grabs. Even though the site says sold out... he has one left that someone else did not pay for. Just e-mail him - (Heads up...)

I think RM Prime rocks almost as much as RM Starscream, I just bought the Black versions of both too.  Let us know how that trailer is ;)

Well, the topic has gone off a bit... however I must say that re-issuing Kup with Wheelie  is an insult to us all.  :tdown

With all of the re-issues that they could possibly do, Kup and for god sakes... WHEELIE, are the tip of the iceberg for me. Completist or not, G1 purist or not... I just can't believe it. I usually support Has Tak, and give the benefit of the doubt, however it seems like they are TRYING to scare us off.  :tfmad

Mirage, Dinobots, Shockwave... anyone else but figures that I associate with G1 season 3. (The beginning of the end of G1!!!!!!!!!)

Why an insult? I think is great, sure are more "dreaming" reissues like the dinos or Shockwave but,  obviously is not possible, like Omega the original molds are lost (I think), for me is great any of the G1 reissues.

The rights to Shockwave and Omega were licenced by HasTak from a third party - so, in all likelyhood these two will never be reissued.

Ya know, for all the talk about molds being lost for the dinobots, I sure as hell would pay more for a dinobot giftset to offset the cost to re-make the molds. I swear-- it can't be that much of a pain to remake them. I'm sure Takara has the design plans in some archive right now, and if not, Chinese labor these days is highly skilled and extremely undervalued, and I'm pretty freakin sure that they could come up with brand new mold remakes in a matter of weeks for a inconsequential cost.

I don't seriously buy the whole argument about "lost molds", be they true or total lies. It's nonsense either way and it couldn't possibly be so big of an obsticle that it would cause Takara to decide against reissuing almost *everybodys* favorite team.  And even if it wasn't everybody's favorite, I'm pretty sure anyone who has dealt with the G1 line at all has some fondness for the dinobots. God-- just look at what they're going for on eBay these days! Ever seen a loose Kup and Wheelie set go for $150?

HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLSSSSSS NO!
