that was great....

Wow.  THe Sun-Times needs to fire Ebert and hire this guy.  Movie reviews would be SO much more interesting...

Optimus Prime learns that all the good Autobots are dying while the sucky new ones still miraculously live. What the hell? So he has to go handle this Blot on his own. Which he does, in pretty much the only good thing about the movie. First he transforms into his truck mode, and then just Powerglidein runs over Decepticons like there's an Asian lady behind the wheel.

:lol

Meh... I didn't find that terribly interesting at all. Can't even be arsed to pick out all the gross errors and inaccuracies in that so-called editorial. Just sounded like some really angry angsty dude going off his nut... I don't find that particularly witty. :/

It's a frigging joke, dude. He was purposefully screwing up the details.

Heh, when I was a kid, I was so bored of seeing Megatron lose all the time, that seeing Megatron kill Prime was actually a releif for me.

Don't get me wrong I liked Prime and I was sorry he died, not to the point of crying though.  Just that the Autobots always winning was a sickening monotmous thing to me eventually.  I mean I always kept thinking what if Cobra could win for once, what if Skelator could win, what if Meg's could win just for once.  So heh, I thought the movie was cool.

I was more greived when Galvatron got permanent brain damage.  Though that was only because he was such a cool villain that I felt like they purposely neutered him.  Yeah he was fun but it just seemed like they needed to find an excuse to make Megatron a loser again.

Now if anything as a kid I loved the new bots, I liked Hot Rod, Magnus was my favourite new Autobot, Springer was cool, and the Junkions were awesome.  I definately liked Galvatron he had become my favourite Decept until I saw him in the S3 cartoon, Scourge and Cyclonus were cool.

I did like a lot of the autobots that got murdered in the movie.  Heck a lot of them were my favourites as a kid, I also liked Skywarp and Thundercracker a lot.

I still was able to shrug it off, I dunno I guess I just was aware it was a cartoon.  Plus, I accepted that Prime wasn't really gone because he was a ghost inside the Matrix.  So I guess I didn't really feel like he was gone.
