Have you actually seen the new Gundam designs? They're horrible (Super Freedom, Destiny Gundam? FUGLY ), and all the "new" MG kits are pretty much just re-colors.....

unfortunately, all the japanese care about is if the mech has a 15 year old fleshbag inside of it. after that, they couldn't care less about how the mech is designed.
