In light of Dire circumstances which have arisen, I feel that we should boycott the new TF movie. What are these circumstances tht are so dire you ask? I will tell you.

It has come to pass that I am just TWO Transformers away from completing the Alternators set. Which two you ask? They are Dead End and Tracks.

Completing this set is a dream of mine, a dream that Hasbro is not allowing to come to pass.

So I feel that we should boycott this movie in hopes of them re-releasing these two Transformers, So then I can finish the set.

This is my plan so will you, Fellow TFans help me to succeed?

I'm sorry to say, I'll be at the movie theater that night.  BTW, didn't Hasbro say that the Alternator Line will finish, that it wasn't cancelled?

Dead End

1. Hasbro plans on rereleasing Tracks at some point.

2. By time the movie comes this will be pointless, because there will be some other alt you can't find.

3. Boycotting the movie will make Hasbro less likely to release these figures again. (Lack of interest in movie=lack of interest in TF toys)

seriously, the worst that could happen to tf's is if the fans bycott the movie. tf's are in a tight spot now. the line is bringing in just enough profit to convince hasbro to keep it going and only by the grace of god is it still going in japan. if the movie bombs, it could be all the excuse hasbro needs to jive-can the entire franchice. and if hasbro quits, takara will race them to the door.

Where has it been published or announced in the last 3 years that TF's were failing in sales and were on the way to death?

didn't you read Hasbro's last business statement? TF's dipped in sales, universe and alternators are semi-retired, and commorative series is dead and burried.

There is NO way Hasbro would release revenue data for a specific line of products.
