Actually...G1 Prime took on 8 'Cons:

Megatron

Soundwave

Thundercracker

Ramjet

Dirge

Thrust

Kickback

Shrapnel

Yeah?  So?  Prime either ran them over, knocked them over, or used his 'awesome targeting skills' to take them out.  He got beemed up pretty badly by Megs.  Dinobot on the other hand, actually went hand to hand with all the Preds.  He even improvised to defeat Megatron, and he was just about gone at that point when he took on Megs.

BW Dinobot = Best. TF. Death. Scene. Evah.

Dinobot's death definetly was done right. Prime was killed just to make people go 'ohmigosh' for the movie.. 'Prime is teh dead.. who will lead us now?? OH NOES!!' .. I liked Dinobots monologues.. definetly made up for the over all crappiness of his character in season 1. I like a good story about redemption of sorts.. and I think Dinobot's sacrafice was a good example of it.

Starcream in Armada follows close behind.. Smokescreen was a dumb death.. :roll

This is easy for me, Armada Smokescreen.  He got pwned twice by

Megatron. First he takes the minicons from him and all the other

Autobots hear is AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH because

Smokescreen got knocked on his ass. When the other Autobots get there Smokescreen tries to take the Requiem blaster from Megartron and becomes Megatrons test subject.  Megatron is more impressed by the power of the blaster than he is of blowing a hole in Smokescreen. Good stuff.

If you read my earlier post...

I agree with Dinobot's being the best TF death overall.

I was just saying Prime did take out other 'Cons besides Megs.

dinobot all the way, he fought all the predacons and quickstrike nearly finished him off, he was even beyond stasis lock before megatron appeared before him " face it dinobot, you're old technology, obsolete. what can you possibly do?

"improvise"

plus the way that ratrap reacted was brilliant

he was a clone and it was half of rampages spark, but you really couldnt tell it was dinobot till rampage was destroyed and he started to remember his former self.

the reason was because of the episode never made called darkglass, with rampage dead there was only one personallity in the body
