TM dinobot is NOT grimlock...Grimlock is a Tyrannosaurus Rex.

 

Swoop is a Pterosaur, not a bird...I really hope they are brand new molds.

 

Dinobot IS a Velociraptor.

If these guys are going to be Autobots, they would most likely have a Powerlinx gimmick. Combining into a more powerful robot? Hope so!! I highly believe that these guys will be completely new molds. Doomlock will be the Cruellock repaint (probably). Regarding the BW repaint theory, I highly doubt it. They have the Universe line for that these days, and they already did that in Armada.

Ive heard that the Grinlock toy will probably be atank or something, based upon the War Within idea. Nice. What ever the mold, hope the colours are good.

I've been happy before with promises about dinobots or dinobot related figures: the BM dinobots, the exclusives some time ago. No, I fear the worst, which is either a Cruellock/Divebomb repaints or some BW era repaints

 

Especially with two sold in one package, I think they won't be too large (two deluxe sized?), which even more points to repaints.

 

However, I so hope I'm wrong. I would love to see a new Grimlock and Swoop, and they don't have to dinosaurs. (Futuristic) Military vehicles, like we saw for instance in the War Within, would be highly appreciated. :thumb :thumb :thumb

My best guess is that Grimlock is a triplechanger who can carry Swoop in Vehicle mode, and that they can Powerlink in Robot mode. This could set the basis of a whole new Mega concept: Powerlinx Duo's.

 

Although it's probably BW repaints. :tdown

i will kick hasbro in the bawls if they do another dinobot repaint. seen too many of them. and the bw repaints as part of armada or energon, that's just crappy. i hope these are good. grimlock needs to be boxy, or beefy, or chunky, something fitting to his name and nature. hopefully it will be a good figure or figures. seeing as how it is grimlock and they didn't use that name on the cruellock figure gives me some hope. guess we'll just have to wait and see. if we expect a disappointment, it'll be great when it's not. knock on wood. :tfpuke
