I doubt it would be a BW Dinobot repaint given the price point. I would love a WW Grimlock as much as anybody... I expect that's what we'll get.

But wouldn't the T-Rex Megatron/Predacon from Armada be a possibility with a new Swoop minicon.

I admit I'd be disappointed if they did this for Energon... But it would be cool to have a massive Grimlock and I wouldn't object if this was a Universe listing. Wal-Mart HAS gotten its TF lines mixed up before in the computers. If it's Universe, I wouldn't be upset since it's SUPPOSED to be a repaint line and, personally, I prefer for repainted figures to be different characters and/or alignments than the original figures. It adds variety to the line.

If it is a repaint of Armada Predacon, at least that opens up some hope for an Autobot Bumblebee that's a repaint of one of the Wasp/Bee molds. I've been wanting that for awhile. :tftongue

I'm hoping for anything as long as its a new mold, grimmy needs a new respectable fig.

i wouldnt mind a bat or a triple changer some of u guys have some good ideas... im just hoping hasbro does a figure preview soon.... and shed some light for us

I think they've got a plan in mind for them, personally I think they had their fill of repaints with the Armada lines. If they are repaints, then it would be nice if the Grimlock is anything like Amon's.

I'm not going to get to excited about this until its confermed there not repaints.

If that happens I'll do the dance of joy, but until then I expect the worst.

No, please not a repaint of TM Megatron/Armada Predacon. I just bought the latter to do it myself.

I'm still hoping for new figures (doubt it, but am hoping)

One thing it won't be is a repaint of Cruellock because that's already coming out as a single figure in the same wave ("Doom-Lock").

On the War Within stuff... This is kind of how I'd lean to, but Hasbro never said they'd be incorporating WW stuff into all of Energon. They only mentioned that Energon Starscream has elements of Figueroa's War Within design at the last OTFCC. Nothing else. That was it.

Probably a BW repaint, unfortunately, judging from:

A) It's a two-pack, which hasn't happened with any new mold stuff that I can think of.

B) The price point is right for either two deluxes or a deluxe and a basic in Wal-Mart Exclusive Rip-Off Package (See Sunstorm and the Mini-Con team... ~$17 value for $20).

TM dinobot is NOT grimlock...Grimlock is a Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Hasbro disagrees with you, on the second part, anyway. Twice, actually. BW Grimlock and the Wal-Mart exclusive Grimlock were both from the Dinobot mold. Dinobot has only used the Dinobot mold twice, and the second time is actually using the BW Grimlock mold (rubsign space, the same on the WM version, too), so Grimlock is as much Dinobot as Dinobot is. However, he's got no claim to the TMII mold.

This Two pack is really interesting especially if they are Autobots. IF they have the PL gimmick, how will it work? Maybe Grimlock is the torso and Swoop becomes the arms or legs depending on how you pl them..

I would just love to see the robot dinosaur look updated. It would be very cool if they combined in some way.

If they were deluxes that would be true but two basics for a mega price would be a rip off....unless they enlarge and improve the molds to deluxe size

Or unless they add more paint apps than usual like with Predacon. :clap

Of course they better have lots of paint detail if. Looks at Hasbro sternly.
