Those who followed my "whatever happened to...?" thread might still remember them. For those who don't, here's the rundown:

Original Wal*Mart listing from March 2004: 80948 Overbite w/Buzzclaw

Chinese listing from April 2004: 80948 Cybershark with Buzzclaw

Recently, Monzo told me over at Allspark that "Buzzclaw" was going to be named "Repugnus".

Now, the surprise:

Energon?!?

DUDE!! that's Hellscream from Beastwars II NICE

No to burst a bubble....but Energon is closing for the season.

and the "See others like it" are all Universe. not to mention that those are repaints from past series (which are not in Energon), they DON'T mention combining (as mentioned to us), The Universe Devastator is also in the wrong place, and that they are WAY TOO COOL TO BE IN ENERGON!!!!!!!

that shark (hellscream) thing makes no sense to me.....it looks half done.

what is the original name for the the lion/fly thing?

Oh, and TFW2005 list them as Universe

(Sarcasticly) Oh darn

Damn, where did those come from? They're pretty cool!

They're redecos of BW Cybershark and Buzzclaw.

Repugnus is an homage to G1 Repugnus.

And the story blurb refers to the UNIVERSE story, so it's another case of "misfiled" listings.

On a sidenote, they finally have product pages for Kickback, Stormcloud and Six Shot up as well.

I KNOW WHAT THESE ARE!!!!!!!!!!

THEY AREN'T ENERGON OR UNIVERSE! OR CYBERTRON for that matter.

Just like the Dinobots weren't RID or Armada!!!!

Nifty.

I like both those molds and would pick them up.

Where'd Cybershark's head go??
