i like to hear news as does everybody but just because a new alt hasn't been revealed since swerve and prowl doesn't mean the line is dead.

Eh, I live on the East Coast in the tri-state of WV, OH, and PA. I dunno how distribution is outside that area, though. But I'd have to say there's been a lot of backlogging, and there's been a HUGE abundance of Silverstreaks wherever I've been to, toy-store wise, in this area.

as for italy... so far i got all i could find on the shelves which means: hound, meister and windcharger.

 

now contrary to what "storm" says up there, there are plenty of mesiters around here. just saw 3 of them yesterday in the mall.

Same reason they can't make a realistic Megatron toy gun. Copyright laws have changes in 20 years.

The G1s had real car designs like the Nissan 240z, Lambro Countach, VW Bettle, Corvette, etc.

 

I wonder why it was OK for those likenesses to be used if there was no liscense?

it's called "stealing" :tflaugh which is why the designs were never *exactly* like the real cars. Didn't stop them from getting sued by the racing team who owned the "real" G1 Mirage.
