I am wondering amongsts all the transformers ever made (besides bt,alt,mp,anni) which ones did a really good job of turning a vehicle/animal/base into a good looking humanoid/animal robot.

 

you know, minimal kibble, good shape, not too obvious in alt mode. that kind of thing

Wheeljack/Downshift was pretty good.

you know the original minibots - Cliffjumper and Bumblebee were phenomenal for their economy of engineering (and no faces on the bottom of the cars either). Other than that, i say Madhammer has a pretty good list. I have to add - Energon Downshift. and the orange bulldozer from RiD land fill.

And lets face it, the G1 Fairladys were beautifully done. Now i realize they have a lot of kibble but, its all very asthetically integrated into the bots.

Armada did pretty good vehicles, considering most of them were generic vehicles that were meant to resemble real cars.

i quite like bw tm optimus primal. also tm taranchulas was one of the most show acc figs i've ever seen.
