Ok so the debate continues, well had a thought once again (a rare thing)?.and I?ll be the first to admit this one has the freak show factor working for it overtime. But something about it seems kinda cool (key word being ?kinda? ), what about the Mitsubishi Eclipse Concept-E :redface

Cliffjumper! :tflaugh

I guess I’m the only one that thinks Hotrod should be a futuristic car. My point of view is that he was never on the axalon and hence would have never been converted to an earth car. Also if you look on the original hotrod toy it surly didn’t look like anything from earth (for the most part).

yeah but they story of alternators , is that humans build their own transformers from earth cars.

The movie took place in 2005. The third season was 2010, wasn't it? (on a side note.. that would have to make Daniel at least 5 - 7 in the movie, and 10 - 12 in Season 3, right?)

Just because they didn't arrive on Earth in the Ark (Axalon was Optimus Primal's ship), doesn't mean they wouldn't be reformatted into Earth forms.

Hot Rod was obviously an Earth car (why would a Cybertronian vehicle have rubber wheels 4 million years after they were shown to be hover-crafts and such in the beginning of MTME?), albeit 'futuristic' (just as Rodimus Prime had a 'futuristic RV' alt mode.

And I think Quattro's idea is the best yet. I think I'll work my Photoshop magic on that car after work tonight. :tfgrin

How about this for Hotrod? :tfgrin

hmmm, i dont know if a tiny red x would work :tflaugh

I guess one of the questions no one has thought about yet is whatever car they pick could they see that car morphed into Rodimus Prime? I’m a big fan of the NSX….even more so the NSX-R, but I’m finding it very hard to see that converted into Rodimus.

Also the NSX should not be molested with flames on it (Mr. Honda would turn over in his grave). To tell you the truth I don’t think the car companies would allow Hasbro/Takara to put the flames on any of their cars for hotrod….or even Tracks for that matter. :tdown
