I'm going to see wht it would take to assemble the papercraft trailer, or a cardboard facimile, and just coat it in ABS plastic. I'm sure it's possible.

wait

couldnt he cast the pieces??

even sell it unpainted like a modle kit.....

how much does the price drop then?

Well, I paid the deposit for the high end trailer over a year ago, I guess there is some problem with the parts. Im in the second batch, so i dont know how long the 3rd batch will take, but I hope itsw soon.

Wanting a show accurate Ultra Magnus is like wanting a show accurate Guardian Headquarters from Go-Bots. The fact that it's show accurate makes it look goofy. (Red and sky blue??? A robot-in-disguise with rocket launchers on his alt mode???)

I so want this, and I'm so not going to pay $ 750 for it ($ 150, maybe). Thought Mark said he was going to make a mold from this prototype so he could reproduce it more cheaply.

Ah well, guess I'll have to try to make one myself.

There a re a lot of parts, with hinges and other details that would be difficult to cast without the proper machines. VPrime said that casting just Wndcharger's barrel was a hassle and not worth his time.

Mark said he wanted to try to find a third party that could easilty cast and repro his design. I know the guys at JD-Productions already said they're not interested in any kind of MP Magnus stuff besides maybe reproing Mark's custom rifle.

HOLY CRAP! i would like on but that much is more than a grand in nz money!

If looking "goofy" is your criteria for judging TF's then you must have a small collection. I mean most of them have ridiculous paint jobs or alt modes. A Lamborghini Fire Chief car? A dayglo orange planet? Almsot every toy that came out in /Armada and Energon? A ton have weapons in Alt mode, and horrific paint jobs. Magnus looks normal compared to most of them.

Also, by the time Magnus got to earth, the TF's were not hiding from humans anymore.
