Hobby Link updates: BT Laserwave, Wheeljack...

Life Convoy- :thumb Looks awesome, I'm definitely looking forward to getting him.

Liger Jack- :thumb Better than I thought he'd look. He and Scourge will most likely be the only 2 beastformers I get from this line.

Autobolt- Still undecided. I'll have to wait to see more before I make up my mind.

Terrashaver- :tdown IMO this makes E-Swoop like a MP figure! Look out or the anorexic bird bot will get you! :eek

Saidos- :tdown :tdown :tdown They should have just called it SAD because that's what it is. That has to be one of the most ugly, and dumbest looking beastformers that I've ever seen.

BTW, I wonder why Takara stuck with the pain in the ass magnets for the steering mechanism, while Hasbro fixed it with the peg & hole device? :wtf

I actually don't mind the magnets on the Mazda mold, what makes them a PitA on the Subies is the way you have to maneuver them during transforming.

The black on Wheeljack's chin almost looks a little too square, almost like it's a problem with the file that makes up the .jpg image. Hopefully, if it isn't that prototype has simply been overpainted.

Actually, that head sculpt looks entirely different from my avatar. Different crown, different ears, and a different faceplate, from what I can see.

Edit: Then again, maybe it's just the angle...

It's not just angled down so we see a little more of the top (along with some different paint apps)?

it's different all together. Yours is the kinder gentler Wheeljack.

The new one reminds me of the Marlboor Wheeljack head.

It's a low angle and some extra paint on the chin. Serriously.

Each of them looks really nice. Saidos does look a little strange in bot mode.

Yes! Wheeljack looks like a total "badass"! (Gee, I wonder if that's allowed? If not, "badarse" will do.) I like the more finished look, it's been what I've been waiting for. He'll be my very first Alt/Binaltech!

Anyone else getting a Batman vibe from him?

Also, I honestly Saidos isn't finished. Look at his face! I reckon it ain't painted right.

I think "badass" is allowed whenever it's preceded by "me Grimlock."
