Actually, I stripped the emblems and front "CORVETTE" logo before I painted, 'cause there was no feasible way for me to mask them out. :P

 

I'm planning to buy the Z06 "Anniversary Edition" model and swipe the decals from it.

I got teh showroom shine back! :D Now, I'm just waiting for the red to cure properly, then I'll be putting her back together and starting plans for the new head sculpt. :D

Funny you mentioned that. I was planning on doing the same thing for my BT blue Tracks!

 

I was thinking about swapping the chrome rimes also. Not sure if it`s possible yet.

 

Anyway, love the color of this guy. Can`t wait to see it all compelted.

The kit I got (Revell) is 1:25 scale, which is 4% smaller than the Alts/BTs (1:24), so you may not be able to do that with the wheels (they might fit, but the Vette will likely end up as a "Low Rider").

 

This wasn't really a problem for my needs, as I was planning to scan the decal sheet and reprint it on clear sticker paper anyway. I just had to scale it up before I printed it.
