this thread is funnie. it is a good point though, wtf would someone where full dress on a beach?

um... can a mod please lock/delete this thread? i don't think i did very good job of portraying the message i was trying to get at :redface

I understand completely. I too am 100% aginst censoring of any kind. It's not a matter of wanting to gawk at li'l girls wearing bathing suits/bakinis/whatever. I'd say the same thing to that and if they censored guns/blood/swearing/etc, and I'm sure you would too. :D

um... can a mod please lock/delete this thread?

:pfx

i dont think its censoring. The show is made as such. if they decide to add cloths on a bikini-wearing girl or edit those out - those ARE censorship. not this. this is more of like 'im pissed at this scene' htf do u guys even know wats going behind at gonzo to really say some hastak fellow stepped it and said "i want her in a dress at the beach, get it?!?!"perhaps its a move by gonzo to give more character development, like how lori hates nature.. .and stereotypcially, there might be an episode where she gets to accept nature and care for it or some Blot like that.

IBLOL!

Heh, she's a kid, not an adult. So am not going to say more on no fanservice.

Yeah, I mean if they did a continuation of Super Link and passed up the opertunity on Miisha fanservice, then I would be mad. :P

But Lori is just a kid. :P

Besides, you shouldn't say it's censorship, they might of thought that it would've been a bit weird to.

She's only 13 or something.

anyone watch the clips of the recent galaxy force episode? the kids are at the beach and lori is still wearing her regular cloths(i'm going some where with this, bare with me)

Gonzo is suppose to be famous for their fan service and would they willingly pass up such a blatant opportunity? no, they wouldn't. it's possible that hasbro might have made Gonzo tone down the fan service since the series has to air in america. now i couldn't have cared less if the topic of fan service never came up but for Hasbro to force Gonzo to pass up what was an obvious opportunity just reaks of blatant censorship and i hate censorship in any form. i guess i should have expected this crap when i saw the first pics of lori in that awful ankle length dress. honestly, do you know any girls in a western society who still wear ankle length dresses as every day cloths?

other than my sisters and mom and my aunts?

and a few people, but they are old teachers (like 1-2 years away from forcable retirement so they don't count)

no...not really. well maybe Mrs. Bush. but otherwise. no.

I'm Jewish, and there are parts of the female body that's supposed to be covered. In reality, it depends on what level of Judaism you are. I know Orthodox women and girls wear skirts and long sleeve shirts, and nothing revealing. Conservative women kind of accomidate between the two, and Reform women just decide when and if they want to. They're not even supposed to wear jeans. My aunt went psycho on her daughter when she asked why her cousin, my older sister, could wear jeans, we used to be conservative, and she couldn't. :roll

I'm not going to force me kids to dress according to what the Torah says, but I'm not going to let them dress in an innappropriate manner.

Amazing how this thread remains alive.
