I don't know if this has been posted yet, but I was wondering if anyone had maybe heard if there is ever going to be a Transformers Massive Multiplayer RPG... I think It would be great, fully customizable bots, faction wars... Different misssions and such... The possibilities are almost endless... Let me know what you guys think, and also leave in info you may have that pertains to this.

I hate to admit it, but he's probably right. Though I'd like to see that happen.

never liked those type of games anyways. If they do, just keep it at a single player shooter.

I LIKE RPGs

Even a single-plaer RPG would be neat, especially if there are characters from all eras.

 

Think about it- in the same way other RPGs travel from town to town, they could cross into other worlds and pick up characters from various eras. Getting two Autobots from E era means they get a special powerlink move or something. Find all the protectobots in another place and include HotSpot in your party- his super-move can be to summon the other four and merge- they you'd have a giant boss-sized ally fighting for you.

Main problem with an mmorpg is how unique most tf's are. Most would not like to be a basic drone type for an mmorpg in the setting.

Real Time Strategdy game like C and C would work. I originally thought of somethin simular, but I went with the first person shooter idea more so than the RPG.. but with RPG elements mixed in.. like Minicons would be basically 'pets' that you can either link on to yourself for added power.. some minicons could be used as mobile cameras, Star Saber and the others would have to be quested. Of course, you don't need minicons if you don't want them. Soundwave's tapes would be considered minicons. Beast Wars characters would have innate protection in their alt form from enemy scanners being their bot forms are concelled completely.. so they make good assassins, however not quick on their feet. Not sure where the Transmetals fit.. would like em though. You could buy parts for yourself that gives you like Skywarp's teleportations, or Mirage's invisiblity etc etc.. all the characters would be modeled directly from the toys.. I even thought of the idea of throwing in gestaults like Devastator in.. but with 6 players all combined into one it seemed kind of hard to say who does what. All strenghts and abilities would be shared in the combined form.. but because it's so demanding, probably would not be a common sight.

 

Well, those are my ideas..

if a gestallt was included with other characters, the main unit should have total control, after all they all have single minds
