I really like Superions chest area and head!!! There is a way to give him hands. He looks great combined with E Devastators limbs.

I think Superion's head would look much better if he had a visor instead of eyes like on the Takara versions box art.

So far I've only built up Superion and Buildtron (or whatever his name is) gonna do Bruticas after this. Hands down, Superion is kicking ass in every aspect so far, B.M. better hope to do something.

 

I'm curious where all these problems are coming from with others Superions. My joints work fine, the chest plate works fine, he's posable and he'll kick ya in da nuts (say it Eric Cartman voice to get the effect), okay, not really, he's still the best.

 

Devastators head looks like a robotic dog face.

well I just got kickback...WOW I thought sledge was my favorite design....that tank is beutiful! A nice heavily armed bot mode...fan mode friendly (fold treads down for a cyber sled mode), has "elbows" for combined mode...and a nice solid foot

Very true, I just realized B.M. is the only one that has the same TF desing on the same sides.

 

The black helicopter makes a terrible foot, I'm gonna go with Blight and Kickback as the legs and have the two helicopters as arms.

 

B.M. face also looks like a dogs face.

I completed mine over the weekend finally! Endured months of not opening any of the parts I bought just so that I could have a look of all MOSC before opening them all. Here's my pic of all 15 parts sealed and placed together:

wow, ive had the combiners for awhile now, since it first came out in japan. Really though, i think its because of my affinity to jet/helicopter type transformers is why i like superion the best. Each bot has a very nice alt mode, love the alt modes, though the Modiefied A-10 bomber type looks kinda odd, wish they used an SU or an F-14 hehe. Superions limbs are unique, and the absence of fists/hands did hurt him in the end. But after you put the guy together, he doesnt look so bad. I also kind of wished he came with a rifle or something hehe. Maybe a new updated g1 superion gun ^_^

I actually did a REALLY cool "fan configuration" with Baricade...for limbs I only have Sledge, Dustorm, Terradive and Kickback...I have baricade in his bot mode, but have his legs in combination mode, and give him Sledge and DS. Then attatch Kickback and Terradive to his elbows. Gives him that Exoskelton look, plus a cool "come get some" pose. Will take a pick when I get home.

The Deceps are suh-weet. No complaints about either of those gestalts or the individual figures making up Devie and Bruticus. Unfortunately, Superion blows as a gestalt and ironically is made up of some of the best basics I have ever been fortunate enough to own! :D The leg problem on Storm Jet makes me dislike him intensely and the fact that his damn chest won't stay fixed in its position and his torso is ugly and hollow, I take serious issue with it and these issues are passed on to the Gestalt like some CTD (Combiner Transmitted Disease).

Steamhammer's altmode looks slapped together, and he's less stable in combiner mode.

Funny, because Steamhammer's vehicle mode is based on a real-life excavator. Funky proportions and all.
