You haven't received alot of responses because it's the weekend.  Some of the

posters here have the Chinese g1 box set and I haven't heard anything bad

about them except some of the episodes are not in order in season 3.  I'd buy

them if I didn't already have the Rhino Sets.  I wouldn't buy the Rhino sets

now since the price of them is insane because they are out of print.

I totally forgot its also memorial weekend here in U.S. man my mind has been on transformers lately I just spent freaking 2k plus on transformers in 2 weeks....anyways glad to hear about the wooden box set.  OH man have you seen the rhino sets they go for a fortune on ebay as of lately.  I know when I bought my first 3 rhino sets they cost me only 30 bucks/piece now folks are buying them for 60 plus/piece set...I shoud have completed my collection when I could have 2 years ago for only 30 bucks/set damn...

I just spent freaking 2k plus on transformers in 2 weeks....

avatar_swm.jpg...if I had a drink, I'd be spittin' out right about now...

why?  :clap transformers rock man I know have a big house and have a place to put them before I had alittle 850 square foot home and had to sell them because I had no room to put them, but now I live in a 2700 sqaure foot home and have all the extra room to display and see them..... :clap

*hits Google*

Okay, so 850 square feet = 259 square metres... and 2700 square feet is 250m^2. Right, now I understand what you're talking about...

Wait... you sold all of your Transformers just because your house wasn't big enough?? My current house is only about 70m^2 and the room where my Transformers are kept is just a 12m^2 bedroom. Even if my collection doubled in size, I could still fit the whole thing in this house. Seriously, if I can fit my 900 figure collection in a little 12 square metre room in a 70m^2 house, I fail to see how even a complete TF collection wouldn't be able to fit in a 259m^2  house... dude, that's more than triple the size of my current house!

And even if you didn't have the space to display all your figures in a 259m^2 house (which I find hard to believe), surely you could keep them stored in boxes. And even if your own home didn't have enough space for all those figures, couldn't you have kept them at your parents' place or a friend's place temporarily until you could find a larger home??

There's no way I could imagine myself getting rid of my collection... no way...

And I'm currently planning on moving into a flat that's no bigger than my current house, and my future housemate's another Transfan who has well over 1000 figures in his collection - if the two of us can display and store just 1900-odd TFs in a single flat (note that a totally complete collection of TFs only be approx 1.5k figures), then I'm sure you could've easily stored your TFs in a 259 metre square house.

The only acceptable excuse I'd take would be something along the lines of your old house being filled with your harem of tanned naked Mediterranean virgins (well, former virgins until they joined your harem)! Nothing else I say! Nothing!!

LOL....it was a tight little 1 bedroom apt. my first kid was coming along so with 3 people it was pretty tight fitting apt. On top of that I had other hobbies taking up room all over the apt. I had Remote control hobbies stuff going on..i tried to fit everything in the apt, but it was tough LOL yeah I tried to fit everything as much as possible, but could not so I had to sell some stuff off and now Im back into the trasnformers kick and been going on splurges.  Oh yeah forgot im into home theatre also....so that took up a lot of room.  LOL...overall right now I have a i think 300 sq foot room for my transformers not that it takes up that much room, but eventually it will as I been collectiong fast and collection star wars revenege of the sith stuff...

I have the Chinese (Pixeltan) TFTM and Season3 & 4 box set and have no problem with it. Yes some episodes are out of order, but that is hardly a complaint.

Oh wait, the Pixeltan TFTM had color problems and some audio artifacts. I think I fell asleep watching it so I can't tell you much about it.

ok guys just to report the box wooden set is very nice folks and I watched up to season 2 already and everything is just like the rhino sets main thing you need to watch for is that you need to set your dvd player to defualt english I didnt do that before and my default ironic enough was chinease and they spoke that....
