Strange, I've read thread upon thread of TF collectors saying how good MP Prime and Armada Unicron are and how they're the best TF's out there, yet for some reason I couldn't care less for the two so-called great TF's. Noticed that after getting BT Smokescreen, I just began to lose interest in Unicron and MP Prime, I haven't even bothered to buy them, instead I bought Powermaster Prime and Armada Thrust. Does that make me a strange collector?

I honestly don't want to add Unicron and MP Prime to the collection for some reason, even though they do look fun and worthy additions to the collection, I just don't have a big desire to buy them. Odd. Anyone else had that feeling or got it? Or am I the only one of a few TF fans who couldn't care less for the two supposedly perfect TF's?

I know what your saying. I've had the same feelings about figures.

I love Unicron...I think that any fan should have him if only because he's UNICRON!

MP Prime, well...I would like him, but I don't really see what is so great about him. I am not going to spend all that money to buy him, not now at least. He's not THAT good.

I certainly know what you mean.

If u're strange, every single one of us would be strange too for having personal preferences. I, for one, don't like Binaltech. Sure it has great designs, but to get a toy for just the car and design, and not the character juz doesn't go with me. The recent reissue #11 Soundwave also failed to make me spend money (in fact the pink box turned me off)...haha...

I kind of know what your saying, I was all about getting Unicron for a while (even bought one for a friend's Christmas present) but for me as soon as I found out about MP Convoy/20th Prime and Binaltech/Alternators; the big guy basicly dropped off the map for me.

The thing that makes me feel like I'm somewhat of the oddball is the fact that if they release a BT/ALT Prowl I'd rather it be based on something besides the Subarus like Smoke and Streak... still wouldn't keep me from buying one anyway.

before its all said and done bt/alts will be the best

the mp price tag is to high for the casual tf fan

everyone is entiteled to their opinion i bought unicron the first day it came to wal-mart and i got mp convoy as soon as it was available for pre-order they are the most expensive of the new stuff and not affordable to everyone so if you don't like the charaters i recomend not buying them if you do like them than they are a must- have

im not saying mp prime and unicron are bad,but as far as getting my moneys worth bt/alt all the way.

alts are only 20$ and they are the best tfs ever.imo

Yes the Binaltechs are cool new transformers but I don't think I would buy all binaltech just the ones I really wanted. I don't think I really want hound or silverstreak so I'll probably just pick up the alternator version of these two. Everybody is welcome to their own opinion on the subject that is just me. I do however think every transformer fan out there should have Unicron because after all he is UNICRON-Destroyer of planets. :tflaugh

I want some of the Alternators, but I haven't found 'em. I saw one at a Wal-Mart a while ago, and didn't buy it. I've regretted it ever since... I've yet to have seen the MP Prime, so I'm not sure what I will do. Ooooohh well. But Unicron is awesome! WOO!

I bought Unicron, but since then, I haven't really messed with him. I mean, he's a pretty cool toy, but there's just too many things that need to happen to get to one thing that I didn't bother with it. I also don't like RID Megatron despite all the rave reviews that people have given him.
