RID Megatron is a pest of a TF. That stupid tail keeps falling off, his transformations are a joke, he doesn't stand too well in his dragon mode and if it wasn't for his posability and the fact that I can turn his swords into arm cannons then I would want rid of him, also I'm wanting to get more Decepticons for the collection.

I think after getting BT Smokescreen, then I started to wonder if getting the perfect TF is worth it, BT Smokescreen is amazing, a work of art and fun to play with, yet he does have parts that fall off too easily and he's awkward to pose without him falling over. And to be honest, I would like to get some more reissues first before I go buying newer TF's, would love to get G1 Smokescreen and Tracks from the Takara reissue range.

im just getting back into collecting. the last TF i bought (got as a gift actually) was an Armada Wheeljack. alternator sideswipe and mp convoy are going to be my first purchases (pending wifey approval) :tftounge

If u're strange, every single one of us would be strange too for having personal preferences. I, for one, don't like Binaltech. Sure it has great designs, but to get a toy for just the car and design, and not the character juz doesn't go with me. The recent reissue #11 Soundwave also failed to make me spend money (in fact the pink box turned me off)...haha...

i was never into Binaltech also. somehow i look at these figures limbs and i find them very unproportional, kinda skinny for the arms and bulky at the feet.

I understand what you're saying as well. I don't get everything just because everyone else is buying it. Like Energon, i've only gotten Battle Ravage. And that may be the only figure I pick up. I'm not even sure if I want to get Energon Alpha Q or Omega Soupreme. It would depend what they look like. MP Prime and Unicorn I did get. I'm not a huge Unicron fan, but the fact that they made a figure in the first place caught my interest to pick one up. And MP Prime is just awesome.

I mostly collect Armada figs... But some G1 reissues and original g1 and g2 toys are in my collection. I own a Unicron, and since my collecting snapped back to me just last year, i've haven't really got used to all the new figures that get released. I'm still in the process of convincing my father(,I'm 17 years old,) to lend me some money to buy BT Smokescreen and MP Convoy. Just for the nostalgia... :D

i picked up armadu unicron from BBTS and he came in the energon box...i think hes one of the greater toys...but i dont think your strange one of my favorite figures is the whole omega prime  from RiD which has problems standing up now since i bought him from canadian tire...yes im canadian but it really pushes the line when you buy an autobot from an auto/home store

I don't Understand the apeal of MP Convoy, he's only in scale with BW Figures, and he was dorment at that time.

I'm not crazy about MP Prime myself.  I've got Unicron, and he is indeed neat, but I don't get much play value out of him. 

 

I think I'm kinda an odd collecter because I can't really see that much of a difference in quality between Tak and Has.  I know takara's got some diecast, but it just doesn't seem that special to me.
