:pfx They gotta be, why else would we Hasbro fans to keep fighting with them so much and for so long :) They're very worthy debaters

Its only a small number of Takara fans that go "Anything outta Hasbro suxxors" without any rational thought like this guy . Save for him, all the Tak fans here like CC, BTC and everyone else argues rationally their points very well :thumb

i know i voted Hasbro for this earlyer and it stands, but i have to agree with Galvey here. if you cant back up your statement with an cohesive arguement other than an one-liner, then you have to stop and think why you like said brand above the other...

true but Takara has been using more cohesive color schemes over all nicer looking figures. A good example of that is Roadbuster and Megazarak.

They may not be showaccurate but the toys look better. Takaras color designers know their stuff very well. I say so far the only thing they have messed up on is Galvatron.

In your opinion. Both Roadbuster and Zarak look boring as heck to me. The silver makes Roadbuster look dull, and Zarak is just so overwhelmingly green.

My vote goes to Hasbro. Cost of toys aside, because admittedly, the markets are different. Simply put, Hasbro seems more receptive to fan concerns (Black Gun 20th Prime, Armada Skywarp, Energon Ultra Magnus, QC fixes, etc).

And then Universe vs. Robotmasters has shown me quite clearly that Hasbro can be quite daring and adventurous, and bring us something new and exciting from something old. Robotmasters, on the other hand, seem very cut and dry jobs, with little thought into making the figures special. "Ooh, let's repaint Indy Heat as Ligier!" How original :roll. Or a flame app on Wreckerhook. Joy. VS beauties like Universe Triceradon or Depthcharge. Yeah, I can see where the effort's being put.

Haha! Where you see boring and blan I see color cordinating and practicality. Roadbuster simply matches better with partners like Skyfire, SL GC, and the soon to be released Wheeljack.

Ironhide is cool, dont get me wrong but I prefer the silver over the beige anyday of the week.

Money for me is no object, I could careless which is more expensive. However that doesnt apply when repaints start coming down the pipeline. It will be Hasbro all the way since Importing 2 versions of each figure is just rediculous.

Megazarak is just plain awesome looking. His green has alot of depth because its a very sand pearlesant emerald looking paint job, almost like a car. The gold really stands out too for the same reason the green has so much depth. In my opinion Scorp has no flow to his color scheme, nothing really ties in and there is no texture to the surface, its just flat matte plastic with a little black wash which looks kinda sloppy to me. I do like both Scorp and Zarak, Zarak for his overall elegant look and Scorp for his bold contrasting color scheme but if I could only have one Id choose Zarak.

I dont really like Universe, I have these figures already and in nicer colorschemes to boot and guess what.... I dont like the repainted part of Robotmasters either, but the original molds I will be getting because those are awesome. Totally new molds were made for Robotmasters, Universe has new molds to the US soil but Takara already had these molds so they arent really new. Robotmasters wins over Universe in my book because of this.

I must agree though, Hasbro really listens to the fans but its not really hasbro listening. Hasbro as a company really could care less about the fandom, its Archer that is listening. Archer is the one fighting Hasbro corprate for us so you really cant give all the credit to Hasbro as a whole. If Archer worked for Takara, it would be a different story......

If your listening, Keep up the good fight Orson!!

VERY well put BTC!

and thanks to you too BG!

It really comes down to this cadillac or a chevy, same thing but Caddie has twice the cost, wanna know why, because its a caddie.

If you notice alot of people who only get the takara variants like to tell everyone about it, its a name thing...I have the takara version Might as well be saying *in german accent* Look at me ein myn Porsha
