Nice job Lobo. truck mode is great. Bot mode is not bad but as mentioned by everyone the mid section is a bit too wide. IMO, its not necessary to put cassette buttons there. Afterall, he is no longer a cassette player. His signature blaster and shoulder cannon would look great as well. :thumb By the way, great job on the head sculpt. You did a good job in duplicating the G1 head. In fact, I initially thought you yanked the head off a G1 Soundwave until I read your explanation of how you sculpted it. Having said that though, I think an "update" of some sort would have been cool instead of having an exact duplicate of the G1 head.

Amazing kitbash. Really love the altmode. Robot is also good looking, although somehow the head seems wrong (don't know why).

Well, on one hand, it's an excellent representation of Unicron_WMD's original drawing. I wasn't so sure it could be made when I first saw it, but Lobo's looks well-made. On the other hand, I'm not too fond of the original design as Soundwave, but that's me and my interest in accurate homages. Never expected a truck Alternator could end up so tiny.

 

But on the third... hand, that truck transformer design has given me great inspiration for creating a custom alt Gears. With the right red/blue paint scheme, custom head, and big whatever-they-weres in the flatbed, and it's him in all his glorious bitchiness. :D

 

*Starts jotting down notes* Now if only I could figure out how his doors and backside fit into the transformation.

That's one hell of an awesome kitbash! :eek But about that trunk-problem of yours, how about making it armguards, like in WMD's pic? That would seriously bulk his arms up and make them look more proportional (the main flaw of the Sideswipe mold if you ask me).

Sorry about the venting up thereLobo but Icouldn`t beleive someone hadn`t seen my Rodimus Prime Ram VTS KB. I would like to say though I am also one of the people who looked at th drawing and thought that it couldn`t be done. I`m glad you proved me wrong it looks great I just can`t wait to see Ravage Lazerbeak and the rest of the crew. You could have Lazerbeak transform into a bed cap or make the current bed cover transform into Lazerbeak.

After looking at it last night, I going change the midsection. Thanks for the digibashs Turbine and GenZero. I think if going to incorporate a little of both. I want to keep the buttons as an homage to G1 Soundwave.

 

I'm also going to look at the forearms to try and bulk them up. Hopefully theres enough room under the hood for it. Gives me something else to do this weekend as I finish Laserbeak.

maybe giving the chest a little bit of definition(making it a little bit farther out) and making the stomach a little smaller and further in the body will make it look awsome, but no offense but it looks weird this way just something about the stomach...
