First Look - Alternator Honda S2000 Windcharger

Recommended Posts

My problem is I always buy Alternators (except when the BT has a different color, hehe), and I don't want to justify spending the extra money just for the gun barrel, but I'm really debating it now that I see it up close.

I don't think Overdrive is coming w/ the barrel either...I've only seen the barrel in proto pics...

I guess I'll just wait to see then. It's not like I'll be seeing him on the shelves here anytime real soon.

Well, we've haven't actually seen a BT prototype - the protos are always leaked from Hasbro factories.

All we have to go on is the crappy pic on Hobby Link Japan's website - two of which have the barrel, and one of which does not.

That is actually a prototype. Pics of Takara prototypes are sometimes sent out as promo pics. You can tell them apart from Hasbro's leaked stuff by the complete lack of color.

On topic: Wait, "first look"? That's the... tenth or eleventh "first look"? ;)

Oh, didn't know that. Thanks :thumb

I thought that it looked to be all plastic which is why I thought it was just an Alt.

My brother just got Windcharger and right i don't know how he looks in robot mode personal or the gunbarrel. He took it to work :tfmad

I for one can never have too many first looks at this guy! :tflaugh

The gun was a big deal for me at first, but the more I see of him, the less I care. I've got a feeling he'll either be inheriting Grimlock's gun or Wheeljack's sword, anyway (since neither really have a use for their own secondary weapons). I just wish you could transform him without taking the engine out at all. Even if it is castrated, I still don't want to lose it!

The gun does bother me a bit, but the rest of him is just way too nice to pass up.
