looks like a bad photoshop job to me

will it actually be a figure, or jsut someone trying to make it look like hot shot?

Here's a link to the front page. They say it's real.

Repaints are the new epidemic.......

well, that is a bad photoshop, but I wouldn't doubt it's real since the robot mode with the arm blasters & rear spoiler were a dead ringer anyway. what got me was the part that said "Thanks to the Japanese Image Board (http://transformers.hp.infoseek.co.jp/cgi-bin/imgboard.cgi) we now know that the GCEX-01 is none other than Rodimus (Hot Rod), and is another special 20th Anniversary figure"

i like the idea but its clearly fake

Yep, but idea of making Hot Rod from Axxellion is not bad ...

While that image is clearly a photoshop, it does make Exilion look battle-damaged. It would be nice to see Hasbro and Takara making repaints with battle-damaged looks and other such redesigns rather than just having every single repaint be an upgrade.

Pho-to-shop!

It could be very likely though, like how in Energon we got the inevitable G1 Galvatron repaint.

However, I hope it isn't actually in the show.
