Am I the only one who thinks some of these Japanese names are just beyond goofy? Inch-up? Sounds like a bot who's having some "size" issues to me. :tflaugh

 

Seriously though, some of these figures just aren't doin anything for me. Flame Convoy doesn't seem all that spectacular either. If the show is as bad as I think it's gonna be this next year is going to be pretty lousy for the TF line. Some I'm sure will do pretty well but I can already see a few of these becoming shelf warmers.

 

Right now I'm really considering just waiting until next christmas to see if they release any of these figs in the bonus 2-packs like they did this year. Thats probably the only way I'll end up getting a lot of them.

Flame Convoy has the best use of Force chip. I'm not sure why everyone thinks he's an autobot. The main idea is that Beast planet is supposed to have an evil convoy. Over here he'll probably be called Nemisis Prime like someone mentioned before.

Odd that these two new "Convoys" (Fflam and female version) are not actually Convoy looking.

I disagrea well at least Nitro Convoy is Convoy-esqe Heshe has a vareation of the Convoy head, with the Creast in the middle and the Antenia, along with Red and white wich are Convoy Colours, with Flaime convoy I will need to see a Close up of the head for my final judgment.

Unpainted protos always look better than the final release versions. I remember the first time I saw the Armada Overload proto I just about wet myself.

 

Still, it's nice to see that the E Shockblast homage doesn't carry over into bot form (or else it was in my head all along). I really like the character of Shockwave, but I don't think we need another one. I hated E Shockblast, but the Alternators version is beautiful, IMO, and I'm all for stopping while one's ahead.

Both look good to me.
