My Storm Jet is perfect.

Almost 1 month for a bump, not bad.

I will say this, though: I did go ahead and revese his parts, on a whim. It was easier than I was expecting, as soon as I stopped trying to pull off the outer legs (thinking they were plastic pegs, not the metal that they are) and actually unscrewed the thing. The biggest issue (and it was exceedingly minor) was setting the screws back in their proper holes, as they are not the same size.

That said, as much as I like the free movement, I still worry mine are too loose (and now, cuz I screwed them tighter, too tight on the hips), and it makes for me having to be a tad more careful. Still, the extra poseability is worth it.

THe joints in the knees were tight on mine but they work prefectly.. maybe you didn't extend they down all the way or something..

Yeah, the autobot emblem on the cockpit of mine is wearing off too. So is some of the white paint. Damn you hasbro!!!

Yeah, I had to do knee sugery on mine too........ :tfmad

I guess I'm just careful with mine, but every time I open it to flip out the head, a bit of paint on the joint wears off. :tfmad

I Just got this guy and the knees ARE NOT BACKWARD! Yes when you initially try to bend the knees the flattened edge does stop you but with a little force the knees click back in 2 optional positions. 45 degrees and next 90. SO DONT go unscrewing and rearranging his legs. The knees on mine are a lot stiffer than if I were to rearrange the parts.

After I saw AutobotMaximal's pic I got the courage to just go for it and force the knees back and they now work just fine. G1 has taught us to be too careful with our transformers. Now we aren't able to except the fact that Transformers are 10 times more durable than the were in the 80s.

Thanks man, I was considering writing to hasbro regarding this. I tried what you did, and yeah, I was nervous, but it worked. He can bend his knees, and the extra friction can keep his knees bent without him wobbling over

I left mine like that (using the angles), until I saw Remy's pics.

There's no getting around it, the Takara version used the smooth side, and Hasbro's used the segmented side. I prefer the smooth.

thanks tman! I was about to give my storm jet surgery but after what you said, I noticed that they do bend. You just have to give them a little pressure.
