I wish I had the money (or space) to have another vf-25, but I think those resources were better spent of the vf-1s. who am I kidding, I'm probably gonna go ebay a vf-25g right now :P

How well do the VF-25s hold together, structure and mode wise? From what I saw from Peaugh's reviews, the robot modes seemed kind of finicky. And what also of the Brera Stern Custom?

Overall, the vf-25s are pretty well built. Transformation always goes smoothly and I'm only ever concerned with scratching some paint when flipping the nose and canopy around. It doesn't feel fragile and the few things I consider finicky and fiddly about it are how the neck clips in place, how the shoulders don't clip into place, and the leg super-parts pop off pretty easily when handling it. I only have the vf-25f, but from what I've seen, the vf-27 Brera Stern fixes all the issues I have (other than cost :redface).

I don't really like the die cast on the shoulders cuz you have to be very fragile when moving it. I posted before that the plastic piece broke off because the diecast joints were too tight that I put too much pressure when moving it. And that can be a pain when it comes to transforming it back to a jet. Having that piece line up and be flush. BUT because of those tight die cast joints, it doesn't need to clip into place.

 

I haven't really messed with the Gerwalk since I got both add-ons. Not recommended when the Heavy Armor is attached.

 

I haven't had any issues with the legs parts coming off. Only the forearm pieces because they don't really clip on.

I have my Yamato VF-1D, and my reissue Takatoku VF-1A, I think that will be enough for me. The rest of the Valkyrie figures always seem to have some horrible, horrible debilitating problem that shouldn't exist. The Yamato VF-1s are bad enough with their shitty shoulders.
