RID Preds

Recommended Posts

With RID the Preds face the Autobots. During BW the Autobots were gone and the Maximals were around. So I dont know how they fit in with the BW/G1 Preds.

Do you know were they fit in at?

I think its a different continuity... or the maximals went back to being autobots in the space from beast wars neo(i think) and RID

x-bob58 is sure to run in and attempt to convert us all to the jap lineage.

If I recall correctly RID was a completely different universe from any of the other shows. Toywise, I think they just grabbed whatever molds they had handy for the preds.

Storywise ... ask X-Bob. :thumb

Rid just grabbed a bunch of toys and said let's make a new show. Thats is...ok not but still. So think the show was just a filler so they just grabbed what they had. Anyway in that universe the Decepticons weren't around. Only the preds, and then the Preds made the cons. So they fit in with Rid, because they were the only evil bots on cybertron in the Rid universe.

Do we count the japanese G1 series as a different continutity, like Zone, Masterforce and Victory?

it's a different continuity...

(Still no X-bob...)

If I'm not mistaken then RiD is a parallel universe, but the Predacons hooped over from the G-1 universe.

(or something like that)

Car Robots was just its own seperate universe. Nothing special with it. Just grabbed molds.

Predacons were Destrongers there. Same with the Decepticons. Both Destrongers. So they weren't even referring to armies of the past with that series. Autobots were Cybertrons though. But Fire Convoy isn't a continuation of the old Primes. Even in Japan, CR/RiD is filler.

Also, if you get rid of Rebirth (and who -hasn't-) then Headmasters, Masterforce, Victory, Zone, Battlestars and Operation Combination (in that order) fit our G1 continuity. And don't really bother G2 continuity either. Or BW.

That makes since to me.

The Destrongers are an Eliete Group of Destrons that are Rumered to come From another Time and Space, If we put 2 and 2 together they may of came from the Beast Eara.
