New Megatron and Optimus package!

Rapid Run

well, I just went to my local toyrus yesterday when i found an optimus prime and megatron pack. Not the small version version, i found the pack for $44.97! When you usually buy them seperately it costs about $80! I didn't have enough money to buy it I just returned today and they were all out! :tdown

I'm not sure what you are saying...

You are saying that you found the Larger Versions of Megatron and Optimus Prime in a 2-Pack?

Where they shrinkwrapped together?

That's what is sort of sounds like.

We need confirmation or pics!!!!

If this is the case, that would be great.

I was wating for both these figures to go down in prices!

A TRU employee on tfw2005 boards posted about this 2-pack but he didn't know what it was because they weren't going to get them in til tomorrow. To me thats verification enough.

jebus, i need one of them packs!

Similar oddity I saw - a E-Jetfire+E-Ironhide 2 pack at Wal Mart. Didn't check the price, considering I have no interest in EITHER figure.

Two normal packages shrunkwrapped together, side by side.

Also saw a Powerlinx Battles packaged Scorponok.

They were first $25 dollars when they came out. Then they rasied the price to $40.

Seeing is believing. A pic speaks a thousand words.

meh, i like my $26 two pack better... of course i already had the regular prime :P
