Character deaths in TF the movie

Recommended Posts

It is easier to list who survived from the 84/85 lines. Perceptor, Jazz, and Bumblebee.

And Blaster... but no Omega Supreme. That baffles me. Was he in Season 3 at all? The Sentinels were...

I can't believe I forgot Blaster.

and blaster was around in some of the season 3 episodes... i think he was last seen in TRoOP part 2...

I like to think that any S1/S2 'bots that weren't killed on screen or mentioned as being dead just said "F*@k this bulls#@t, Prime's dead and the war's over anyway.", and went off on their own paths when Rodimus took over.

Yes...when he mysteriously replaced Wheelie. :mwahaha :mwahaha :mwahaha

Where the hell did blaster go in the movie anyway?? Was he owed some annual leave and just decided to take it mid-film?!? Omega supreme was in The Big Broadcast of 2006 if I remember correct. Also, you can see some G1 bots (ratchet/Brawn/Huffer?!?!) in FFOD episode 5 and Carnage in C minor on the asteroid. Major animation errors in season 3!

Also, he appeared in everyone's favorite episode Carnage in C Minor.

Which is what half of the fans did. :tflaugh

i guess Metroplex still wasn't fully completed yet...

and during the battle @ Autobot City, the transformation cog was somehow destroyed.

I think he Transformed in Scramble city with takes place b4 the movie, perhaps Metroplex got his cog screwed up in his fight with Tryripicon at the end of scramble city?

Omega Supreme was in the season 3 episode "The Big Broadcast of 2006."

Hmm.

Well, I think alot of the inconsistencies in character appearances can be chalked up to just *when* the movie was being made. It seems to me that Sunbow was working on the movie about the same time as the first half of season 2.

Notice that you don't see ANY characters from the second half of season 2, such as Omega Supreme, the Arielbots, Stunticons, Combaticons, Protectobots or even the '85 mini Autobots, for that matter.

Metroplex wasn't mentioned in the movie because he probably didn't even exist as a toy yet. He was an afterthought they added into FFoD. To explain his absence in the movie, they made up some nonsense about his cog being damaged.

Though I did read somewhere that John Moschitta (sp?) said that he actually recorded dialogue for some season 3 episodes before the movie. My guess is that the movie, the second half of season 2 and the first few episodes of season 3 were all in development at the *same time.* This also explains where Akom came into play. It was way too much work for Toei, so Sunbow jobbed a good deal of the season 3 episodes out to Akom, and let Toei handle season 2 and the movie.

Just a theory. Anyone?
