So who all OFFICIALLY died in the movie? Does anybody know for sure?

For onscreen deaths, there's Prime, Megs (kind of), Starscream, Prowl, Ratchet, Ironhide, Brawn, Wheeljack, Windcharger, Thundercracker and/or Skywarp (reformatted into Cyclonus/Sweeps), Insecticons (or clones... hard to tell)...

Anybody else? Daniel mentions Huffer's tomb in "Dark Awakening." I heard that Red alert was supposed to get wasted in a deleted scene (shot in the back of all things!).

Are we supposed to assume that ALL '84/'85 Autobots got killed, or just those that died onscreen??

Thrust, Ramjet and Dirge flew into Unicrons mouth and were chomped.

It is easier to list who survived from the 84/85 lines. Perceptor, Jazz, and Bumblebee.

I think it ahd a big impact because it was such a drastic shift away from what we had been seeing, but I don't think it was necessarily the right way to do things. It seems in hindsight when I wastch it now that aside from optimus, they were just offing people for the sake of offing them.

Thrust Ramjet and Dirge showed up in a few season 3 episodes. "Thief in the night", adn "Ghost in the machine"

That's true. I think the writters were just waiting toget the chance to kill everyone since they couldn't on the show.

And Blaster... but no Omega Supreme. That baffles me. Was he in Season 3 at all? The Sentinels were...

in one of the season 3 episodes, Omega Supreme was apparently sent away on a mission... this probably means he was not killed in the movie (or between season 2 and the movie), but was doing some important stuff...

oh yeah one other question, when Arcee and Springer were picking their way through the corpses to `transform` autobot city why didnt they bring metroplex online?

i guess Metroplex still wasn't fully completed yet...

and during the battle @ Autobot City, the transformation cog was somehow destroyed.

I can't believe I forgot Blaster.
