All that timeline stuff just confuses.

I don't know if it was the nemesis, but there is a G1 cartoon eps in which the Decepticons find a Decepticon starship containing the "heart of Cybertron" Seems a bit convenient that there are two decep warships on Earth.

that WAS the nemesis...

the nemesis originally landed in the sea, but at the end of season 3 of Beast Wars, it was sent crashing down into unknown land (South America, i think), which was where G1 Megatron found it.

Of course the Insecticons would have been running around on Earth already, since they escaped from the Nemesis before it crashed. Would have been interesting to see those guys meet up with the Maxis & Preds. :tfgrin

I like the way that's said. It's true, Megatron does indeed tell both Soundwave and I'm not entirely sure if it's Thundercracker or Skywarp, but one of the two, that the ship predated even their landing on Earth and the computers reformatted them to be Insecticons. So if something is missing, then yes, they should have met up with the Insecticons and had some very powerful allies.

I wonder what ever became of Scorpinok, and terrorsour? Lava dosn't kill TF's, I bet they survieved

Maybe they got suck down there then when Tigerhawk destroy the base, they were killed. Then again the explosion might got them free.

Personally, I have a hunch that Dinobot didn't actually die in the Nemesis.. but there's little to anything to prove that.. but as far as Terrorsaur and Scorponok being killed, thats question has been stuck in my head since I saw a hand come jutting out of the ground before silverbolt and quickstrike wake up. Whats the deal with that? People say it's a protoform.. I digress.. looks' like Terrorsaurs hand to me. So I wonder why the writters even bothered to hint at that if they werent thinking down the line about bringing in atleast Terrorsaur.... personally, I don't think those two were very good characters anyway. Scorponok was replaced by a better yes-man.. (inferno) .. and Terrorsaur was nothing more than Starscream in a lizard suit.

I think megs actions in BW did effect G1.. for instance, he dug the ark out with the tractor beam from the rubble. Wasn't a big change.. meh

Well, strictly speaking, that *wasn't* Dinobot. Dinobot had already died, and his spark had joined the Matrix. TM2 Dinobot originally contained 1/2 of Rampage's spark and didn't have ANY of Dinobot in him at all until "Dark Glass," which never aired. And even then, it was only a copy of Dinobot's data tracks or whatever that got uploaded into Dinobot; that's not the same thing as his spark, which is what "is" Dinobot. When Rampage is killed in "Nemesis," Dinobot re-emerges, sort of, kind of the way Optimus Prime did in "Dark Awakening;" it's more an imprint of who he used to be, rather than the actual person. But it was enough to get him to turn against Megatron.

BTW that hand coming up from "the ground" at the end of "Aftermath"... look closer -- it's coming out of a *stasis pod*. It's Silverbolt. :P Terrorsaur and Scorponok died in the Predacon base, not out in the wilderness.

And if you notice, Terrorsaur was glowing in that "I'm about to be transmetalized" way as he fell in (Scorponok wasn't, as I recall). Since they made a TM Terrorsaur toy, I can only surmise that the writers were leaving themselves an "out" if they ever wanted or needed to re-introduce Terrorsaur to the show.

I remember when beast wars ended with waspinator on earth, I thought the Insecticons were decended from him (bugs, could eat for fuel, smaller, etc), or his spare parts persay...but then beast machines killed that theory

Plus the fact that they explained the Insecticons' origins in the first episode they appeared in. :P

(They were on board the Nemesis but left on an escape pod when the ship was about to crash. How very like them... :tflaugh)

Earth's second moon destroy and the stasis pods.

I wonder what happen to them.
