Any TF issues that HAVEN'T been debated to death?

So, this is really just a PWNING thrread?

No, that's not my intent. I guess I kind of feel the way MP does about things. Same old Optimus Prime, same old Megatron, bla bla bla. I have just about everything TF-related that I want (with the notable exception of the Beast Machines DVDs), and I'm starting to feel like... like I'm not as interested in TF-related things as I used to be. I think the movie will revitalize my interest for a while, depending on how good it is (though I'm mostly just interested in the TF movie version of Megatron), but... eh.

I know that the same questions will be asked over and over again, as long as there are new TF fans coming on board every day, but I guess for me it's getting old. (Or maybe *I'm* just getting old. :tflaugh)

Wow, that was more philosophical than I'd intended...

Here's one, did the triggerbots actually have to press their own triggers to flip out their weapons, and did they frequently use expressions like "That really trips my trigger..."

...Or were they any good at Trigonomatry.

Anywhoo, the first part of your question, I have heard before. But the second, not exactly.

I think I have a question that has not been asked before. Who would win in a fight? Energon Ironhide V.S. Sedan. I'd like to know

and I'm starting to feel like... like I'm not as interested in TF-related things as I used to be.

Welcome to my world. I haven't even broke 400 posts and been here since June cause I hate reposting everything others have said or something I've said before. INH is where I spend most my time as the folks there are creative and funny.

Has anyone ever discussed if Optimus was better as a truk or munky?

Exactly MH.

Me? im not even that excited about Galaxy Force/Cyberton. We, I am a 'little' but there is a big part of me, that has watched fandom get geared up for "season 3, BW" "BeastMachines" "talking about CarRobots" "getting RID" "Aramda rumor/speculation" "getting Armada" "Getting Energon" and Now, Cybertron/Galaxy Force and the upcoming Movie by the crapwoman writer..

And in every single case, fandom goes apesh*t with joy and place all our hopes in the new thing, only to utterly tear it to shreads when it comes out.

Sorry kiddies, even your angst is boring me. I mean, that is SOOOOOO summer of 2001. And I dont know about you MH,, but when I hit a post that starts out,.."I hate it when..." or "you know what hate about..." WELL, honestly, I never read the rest, and just skim on through, looking for something funny, or a good fart joke, or something.

Becasue, your (yes, you! Mr Unlaid Transfan) i heard all of it before. There is nothing in this fandom, that isnt worshiped by one group, and demonized in another.

And when you wade through the sewers of this fandom for so long now, you are tired of having to see its crap. Thats why guys like me, get so fighting mad, in fan bitchy threads, "I like this, nah nah nuh nuh" well, "I hate this, nah nah nah nuh nuh"

I want to pull and Old Man moment, from ROBOCOP 2, and say "GENTLEMEN.........BEEEEEEEHAAAAAAVEEEEE, YOURSELVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!""

Until it got shut down in fact, the only thing really keeping me interested in this franchise to any real degree, was the Botcon/OTFCC Wrecker's Universe stuff.

Shame.....

So, why am I at TFans?

INH, and the funn13, and the INHers.

Themns mah boys.

Do I know far far far too much about transformers, to ever truly be here just here for the funny.... yes. And thats why my fingers will find themselves typing opon occasion in reply somewhere "dear sir or madam, your logic was atrocious, and your argumentive stance had the fragrence of poo poo.."

But until then, Its INH, thats why im here.

:) :usa

If only OP were a truck full of monkeys.

You know, for me, I'm mostly interested in the cool toys. I don't really have strong feelings about the whole story part of it; I tend to make up my own. So from that perspective, I think most of my on-topic posts have read something like "d00d that rawks" or something.

If the target market weren't young kids, I wonder if they couldn't do more detailed information about battle strategies. I mean, most of the fights end up just being people show up, stand ten feet from each other, and shoot until someone gives up. But on the other hand, these guys are supposed to be in disguise. Rarely do alt modes really come up in an intelligent sort of way. I wonder if they couldn't find a way to make that a more integral part of the story.

I dunno, that's probably not too helpful. rawk 0n!1!!11!!

they were, in the beast era.

Were they had different abilities, shielded from energon overload and detection by vehicons, and were also handy and nifty in attacks.

Sigh.

I miss those days.

*senses developing Transtech angst* :P

Yeah. I mean, I get excited when a new TF line comes out, just like anyone else. Well... at least for the most part. I was very not excited about Armada, because it looked lame (and behold, I was right). But you know, I like GF Convoy and Darth Maul's Spaceship Convoy and WW Starscream and all of that, but I'm probably not going to buy any of them. I only ever bought two Energon figures, and they're both in my son's collection right now. I've been able to get all the TFs I want (with the exception of some G1 figures that I'll never be able to afford) and I'm pretty content with my little collection. :)

I guess it's just hard for me to get excited about something that is so clearly geared towards kids, now that I'm an adult. I still enjoy the Beast era stuff because it was written intelligently, and of course I grew up with G1 so there's some big-time nostalgia there. But... eh. I know that kids' shows don't have to be infantile and unimaginative to succeed (ever see any classic Warner Brothers cartoons?), and I wish that people would put the effort in that they once did. But at the same time, I shouldn't expect Hasbro or anyone else to cater to adults when developing a show that's designed to sell toys.

Dang, this *is* turning into a Transtech thread... :tflaugh

... there will always be a new Transformers related topic... always.

Quote Skywarp & Megatron, G1 MTMTE 1

"How do we know Cybertron even still exists?"

"...It must exist"

Have faith in the fandom buddy.

I'll even humor you with a new question that I doubt has ever been asked before, heck it should be a new thread.

Ben Yee of BWTF.com VS Remy of TFKenkon

They Shall Fight In a Battle Where There Can Be No Winners,

WHO WILL WIN!

Enjoy.

BTW Benson wins by a KO in the third round. No contest.

Not that there's no LM luv for Remy, but when you make me choose... :tfgrin
