Now you got me wanting to try a Magnus bash of my own..  but what the heck would I do with another mini Megs?  :tfhuh :tflaugh

Well, you could try to bash it into an Alternator Megs with some filing.

Meister seems to have the right colors. He'd just need some decals.

Or you could sand off the Decepticon logo and kitbash him as Dai Atlas. He has much of the same contours. The wing placement and the crown are dead-on...

... And I'd like tosee something more imaginitive done with Megs than a Galvatron repaint, happy as I am that Hasbro is doing one.

I want to do a Dia Atlas but not out ot megatron I want to do it out of RamJet

I would use megs but he is missing his canopy becuse I used it in my last custom

hhhhhhmmmm King Atlas+Megatron=Dia Atlas???

I kept burning my self with the hot lighter :tfmad anyone else who has worked with scuplty got a better way of selectively curing it?

Go to a craft store and purchase a heat embossing tool. Some of them look like a blow dryer, but they just give off heat. Whenever I am working with Sculpey and can't put the item in the oven to cure that is what I do. Just make sure that you are working on a heat resistant surface like an acrylic cutting board. If you have a michaels or Joanns near you, check the Sunday paper for 40% off any one item coupons and use that to purchase the tool--they run around $20 - $25 and can be found in the rubber stamping aisle.

you could make the possesed megs with the green eyes, and the wired Hexagons all over his head.

Hey The Rat, your custom is so cool. I'm attempting to copy it and have all the necessary pieces. But I have some questions. How do you make it so his hands still slide in and out of the forearms? That red post is still in there on the Energon Prime part. Also how did you make it so the Armada legs don't keep coming off? As soon as I figure out those 2 problems I'm ready to do some dyeing/painting. I haven't decided if I should do Scourge or copy you some more and make Magnus. Yours truly looks awesome. Please help a guy out!! :tflaugh

well let me see first off

I did cheat a littel on the arms I just made them removeable. This magnus's dirty littel secret. I must have tried 20 diffrent ways to get the arms together. :tfmad I finely said screw it, and cliped the magnus hands like in this pic.

I also used an Exacto knife to clean out of the excess plastic so it will slide and out with realtive ease. Yea know its not as perfect, but the red post inside does an amazing job with two things. that being to hold the hand in, and adding stabilty. The reason I gave up on trying come up with a better way, was becuse G1 prime\mag have removeable fists so why not this guy?

his legs were the easyest part of the bash. all I did was take off the orignal prime feet\thighs and then slip the BaiB magnus feet up on the leg stubs like they were boots. How are they held in place? Easy I just left the bottem screw that held the primes legs together screwed out a few turns. I then tightended the BaiB Magnus feet down, and they hold the feet in place really nicely.

hmm what else did I do. Oh yea to make it roll better in the alt mode swap the lower right and left legs. so the screws are pointing outwards. There is a small peice of plastic that need will need to be trimmed just slightly. This way the legs will swing up a little, and all of the wheels will be able to roll together.

If want to duplcate this as close as you can I also recomend fileing down the back of his sholders. Otherwise the arms wont fit in the modified alt mode.

The final word of advise for the altmode to work better is to sand the orignal prime thighs, trim them so they are even with knee joint(the back swining one) You should also clip off the back part of gas tank on the back it will let the bigger arms fit in tighter once again in his alt mode

I really hoped that helped you automaster, and anyone who else wants to make this custom

Thank you so much. I should have thought about the screw in the legs. Doh! Cool, I'll get back to work now. :clap
