Kinda looks like the head to Cerebros ....

well it looks like spike form the rebirth episode's he was the head master for cerebro in the toon but the toy looks way differant

www.tfu.info

Is that the thing that was sold on eBay as a prototype? I would guess someone made that in their basement. Youch. Looks like a lot of time and effort went into it. Could be a Cerebros head. I think that is what the auction had said it was. A prototype that was done for the Fort Max but they went with a different cast.

That was never done as a TF toy, that is for sure. Did it come with some authenticity, documents, anything?

The material looks like it is a kind of resin? For sure lots of hand work in that one, not machining.

Spencer.

The three power bars for the headmaster are the same length, say 10 10 10, which would indeed indicate Cerebros / Spike? The head is also vaguely Prime-like, maybe it was going to be an Optimus headmaster.

It's a proto, presumably, not a kitbash?

That definitely looks like Cerebros's head from The Rebirth. The original release of the toy had a different head. It looks like someone made a show accurate headmaster Spike.

From what I know of this it is a hand made prototype. I'm just not sure of what.

This was purchased on e-bay. It was then re-sold. I'm trying to track down its origins but I don't have much to go on.

Here's what I've got.

1. It supposedly came from Japan.

2. Its obviously Hand Made and matches a Cartoon Version of Cerberos's head.

3. It fits in all my headmaster sockets AND it shows the tech specs accurately.

4. It is the roughly the same height as a normal head but its "deeper"? Not sure if thats the right descriptor but it doesn't fit inside the normal head pocket on Fortress Maximus when engaged to Cerberos... (Head in head on Max.. .if that makes sense)

5. Its hand painted with what appears to be hobby paint, very tough through.. may be something else.

6. It didn't come with anything but itself.

Thanks!

It is the crappy custom, we discussed it here a few weeks ago, have a search and you should be able to find the thread

Not to be a pain or anything but what do I search on? Crappy Custom?

Can you give me a keyword or some other identifier?

Thanks!
