I'll wait until there is official confirmation. I can't see why Acid Storm wouldn't be in the stores.

I agree on both accounts. Which is why I'll continue to check TRU until I read otherwise!

My local TRU manager said they should be getting them in within 2-3 weeks. This was on wednesday.

Not trying to burst anyone's bubble, but on the TFW2005 boards, they're posting these MP's WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE IN STORE! The TRU website now also lists them as such!

What is going on?!!!!!!!!!!

Well it would make sense it is listed as Not Sold In Stores as basically they won't be in until mid-august. Although, if for some reason they aren't I will gladly drive to Rhode Island and kick every Hasbro TF Exec squarely in the balls for such a dumb ass move to tell TRU only online. If it was TRU's decision to do this only online I hope all their stores burn down.

For Japan, and consequently for the rest of the world, a Masterpiece Transformer has a release date and is sold as any other Transformer would be sold. We put in our pre-orders. The toys arrive to the respective online retailers and everything is fine.

For the U.S., thanks to Hasbro and the poor market for toys these days, a Masterpiece Transformer is relegated to a single retailer who simply MUST tie the release in with an event like SDCC and never have a steady supply of the product.
