Same thing happened to Megatron.

 

Megatron barly ever touched Prime. But glavatron almost killed him. In fact, he was perhaps the only Galvatron to almost kill the Prime character.

Beast Wars Megs is the most well developed character in TF History. Fact.  He might have been the "bad guy" but at least he had ideals and ideas and a plan to make them happen.  He was a thorn in the side of the Maximals, Predacons, Decipticons, and even Autobots.  He surpassed his namesake time and time again.  Plus he had a better since of humor then the original Megatron, and wasn't a psycopath like Galvatron.

What about Energon Megatron? I liked his design and i thought he was cool, despite how he placed Starscream as a slave but still i liked him!

Y'know what?  Energon Megatron was great only in one episode.  The forst one where he's revived and wakes up to causing some tremendous grimeyness by kicking Skorpinok's can left and right and then made Skorp a Decepticon.  Wow!  Now when I woke up on that fine morning to see this action, I called everyone I knew to see the reruns of the grimeyness that was Megatron.  I...I think I'm getting a little teary thinking about it. :tfsad *Sniff...give me a second here...Ok ...I'm gonna be ...ok.

 

Best designed and character goes to Cybertron/Galaxyforce Galvatron (The only one I seriously call Megatron.  He makes me veeeery nostalgic.  :thumb

 

Beast Wars Transmetal 2 Megatron comes in second...although he's mucho evil and and a much better badguy, he still gets the number two spot.

 

Third goes to G-1 Movie Galvatron and then to G-1 Megatron.

g1 galvy > bw/bm megs > g1 megs > the rest

 

i liked galvy cuz he was nuts. he was just fun to watch. bw/bm megs gets high honors because he actually succeeded in doing what he set out to, even if he was defeated after the fact. he infiltrated the ark. almost destroyed the universe in the prosess. he actually enslaved cybertron. and if it werent for the intervention of the oracle he never would have been defeated.

G1 Megatron gave attitude to a giant monster planet when nearly dead floating through space.  He is the badass of the new century

I never liked the original Megatron when I was a kid because he reminded me of TV Evanglist Robbert Tilton.

 

Or maybe I didn't like Robert Tilton because he reminded me of Megatron....
