I agree with ProckoZero Prime. Starscream could do more damage if he accepted his role as aerospace commander and ran with it, and if Megatron would actually listen if/when he had something good to say

i belive so,the man was a scientist on cybertron, and he is a proven leader who will stop at nothing to get what he wants[if if he has to kill]

He was too obsessed with being the THE leasder instead of A leader. He was a pain in the ass. Who the hell would want follow a complainer?

but i belive once he would become leader he may lighten up

Starscream put all his time and energy in trying to become the leader, instead of learning the skills which would have made him a good leader.

I think he would have made a fair leader as long as his personal safety was not in danger.

i think he'd be a decent leader as long as he wasn't in danger, sort of like cobra Commander. But would anyone actually listen to him? I think some of the cons hated him more than some of the autobots! :demon

i think he would of tried and failed. he just didnt have it in him

Personnally, I was always confused that Starscream seemed to be second-in-command. He was a total foo. Though his leadership abiblities seemed to differ by writer. Most of the times he just acted like an idiot, charging into a situation, often times doing great damage to himself or the Decepticons and their plans. He was also pretty weak. Some episodes however have him being a very different character. For example, in Dinobot Island. He repeatedly warns Megatron of the dangers of taking energon from there, but humbly obeys when Megatron tells him to shut up and get some energy. When everything goes wrong, Starscream hardly even makes a very big deal about it. I think Starscream would have been a horrible leader. If not for Starscream, the decepticons probably would have won the war on many occasions.

Hell no! SS was a nut without a clear idea how to lead by example. Megatron was very hands and would discipline anyone who screwed with him or failed to fulfill his desires. SS was a huge whiner, too self-absorbed I still wonder how the other Deceps were willing to accept him as the new leader in the movie. In any event, SS is good at the double-cross but he can only do that so long before his past catches up to you and someone tries to kill him. Overall SS would've gladly sacrificed the rest of the Deceps if it advanced his own goals AND I think they would be much more willing to abandon him than Megs. Remember the movie Soundwave showed his loyality to Megs at the end of the battle. If SS was the leader I think everyone would have left him to rot. :tfevil

I have to say he would have been good. I hate megatron sometimes he's always all action. All he does is let's attack I think starscream would have thought things out better.
